KOTO”is one of the traditional Japanese instruments passed down from generation to generation. The sound of “KOTO”symbolizes Japanese culture. Compared with western instruments,the atmosphere of the performers playing the “KOTO” and the  sound are less gorgeous,but it helps listeners feel the way the Japanese have cherished in their traditional music. The mellow sound affected Japanese heart for more than a thousand years,and still catch today's Japanese people though western music   instruments seem to be more popular among Japanese people today.
